Photometric Investigation of Contact Binary DY Cet Based on TESS Data

Abstract We present a photometric analysis of the TESS light curve contact binary system DY Cet and behavior its orbital period variation. The published radial velocity data was performed using Wilson-Devinney code. As result simultaneous with data, masses radii system’s components were determined as M1 = 1.55 ± 0.02 M?, M2 0.55 0.01 M? R1 1.51 R?, R2 0.95 respectively. degree (f) mass ratio (q) 23 % 0.355 0.012, Orbital conducted for first time in this study. It observed that has sinus-like change decreasing parabola. To explain change, transfer between is proposed assumption conservative mass, rate calculated to be dM/dt 1.1×10^(?7) yr^(?1). A possible third component suggested explaining unseen 0.13 M?. age estimated 3.77 Gyr.
